The sea is a magical force of nature. Its complex and dynamic nature underpins both its draw and its danger.

Caroline Zeiss has been sea kayaking for over 20 years. Her goal is to develop paddlers who are able to safely navigate and enjoy a rough water environment. 

Although sea kayaks are her primary craft, she paddles whitewater boats, surf kayaks, surfskies and canoes. She operates out of Guilford, CT, with a home range in the Northeast United States. She has paddled in Wales, Norway, France, New Zealand, and the US West Coast.
